“I don’t need to know everything, I just need to know where to find it, when I need it.” -Albert Einstein
I have lived by this quote for as long as I can remember. As a perfectionist, I have to remind myself not to attempt to be master of all. I focus on the things I can do well, educate myself on topics that interest me and outsource the rest.
When it comes to Social Media Marketing remember to take this approach. Don’t try to master all the ins and outs from the start. Focus on the platform(s) that reach your audience and set goals. Pick a day or two a week that you will consistently post. Being consistent is important. If you have staff, assign a day to each staff member to help lighten the workload.
The ability to schedule posts with social media is a great tool to help with consistency. Some platforms have the capability within but there are many great social media scheduling tools out there. Mark a date on your calendar each month that you or your staff will work on the next month’s content and boom, consistency… check!
