Are you having the Graphic Design blues? As a small business with a sole employee, me, my “graphic design team” is also, me. I know my talents and start from scratch graphic design is not one of them.
So where does a small business go from there if graphic design is neither one of your in-house talent’s nor do you have the means to outsource? There are many options out there but I have fallen in love with Canva.com. (Thanks for referral, Erica McMannes!)
“Canva is a free graphic-design tool website, founded in 2012. It uses a drag-and-drop format and provides access to over a million photographs, graphics, and fonts. It is used by non-designers as well as professionals.”
I have used many “just drag-and-drop” tools in my years of Marketing and some are far from that easy. Canva, on the other hand, is just that easy! No copyright concerns like when you use that image you found on Google Images (#guilty). On that note, another great source for free stock photos I have been using is Pexels.com.
Now, go explore Canva.com! There are so many predesigned graphics you can personalize with your business image and color palette. I promise you will find it useful and hopefully even fun! Let me know if you have any questions along the way!
